hotel ristorante crescenzo

Hotel & Restaurant Crescenzo is right by the sea.

It is organized in ten rooms with bathrooms and showers, heating, TVs, and direct dial phones.

Some of our rooms offer a view on the port of Chiaiolella, while others have small balconies.

Moreover, for those who seek a quiet stay, we have rooms that are behind the port.

Some of the rooms can accommodate a small family of four, having a double bed and a bunk bed.

Additionally, we provide cribs and baby cots upon request.

Crescenzo is also an excellent restaurant, a popular meeting point for aperitifs and a renowned pizzeria during evenings.

The kitchen of the Crescenzo restaurant is a simple cuisine with preparations at the moment, it is a cooking garlic oil and parsley that is based exclusively on fish, with recipes that start from the old school of Mrs. Vincenza up to the land-sea combinations, obtained from a careful analysis carried out by our cooks.

But as you know a good cook is not enough to get a good dish, you also need to know how to choose the best and good quality ingredients.

As far as fish is concerned, in Procida we are very fortunate , at the port of Marina Grande every afternoon several fishing boats arrive loaded with fish, in the morning the seafood arrives, while at the port of Chiaiolella or Corricella there are many others who bring their catch.

So there is a constant and complete supply throughout the day.

About the other ingredients, like vegetables, we always try to use the island products, when this is not possible we get supplies from Campania's fruit and vegetable markets; keep in mind that we use almost exclusively seasonal products.

The oil used is only extra virgin olive oil, without the use of butter and other animal or vegetable fats, our favorite oils are from Puglia and Cilento.

Pasta, or rather spaghetti, is made from durum wheat semolina, in short, a pasta that cooks slowly and which needs give time to the sauce to soak; all our pasta dishes are then sautéed.
